I have known Mr. Ristic for three years. From May 1998 until May 2000, I was General Manager of Channel Commercial Canada Inc, based in Mississauga, Ontario. Goran was an engineer in the product development and production support role for the first 7 months, and then I promoted him to Chief Engineer for the company in January 1999. He continued in that role until just recently when he was affected by a Corporation-wide re-structuring.
Goran stands out in my mind as possibly the best design engineer I have known. My credentials include a Bachelor of Engineering degree from The Royal Military College in Kingston, Ontario, and a Master of Science in Aeronautics and Astronautics from M.I.T. I spent 14 years in the Canadian air force, two years at Boeing deHavilland, 8 years at Raychem Corporation, 1 year at Chapters and then two years at Channell. So I have seen and worked with a lot of engineers and designers.
Goran is incredibly organized, thorough, talented, hard working, dedicated, accurate, creative, inventive, professional and easy to get along with on top of all that! He is well educated, well trained, has great experience, and is a whiz at computer-aided design, especially using AutoCAD and SolidWorks. He has electrical, mechanical, physics and I'm sure other engineering capability
I would most happily and confidently recommend Goran Ristic for a responsible, important and valuable position. His work ethic, personal integrity, engineering knowledge and design talent makes a powerful combination. He is a rare gem.
